Normal conversion speed from Aperture to Capture One?
I have a 600GB Aperture library that I am converting to Capture One after all these years. Retroactive kept things limping along, but I finally purchase Avalanche to migrate the library.
I noticed that briefly, my 10-core i9 iMac was running at about 500% when the conversion was kicked off. But now it is limping along at about 5% CPU utilization or so for a few hours. The size of the new library is about 80MB (yes, not GB). The target is a QNAP NAS with enough space for the new library (the original is on a Thunderbolt-connect SSD drive). I've copied massive files to the QNAP before without being such a bottleneck. If I could create the new library on the same drive, I would. There's just not enough space.
The network utilization is a small - with about 500KBs constant upstream flow (on an uncongested GbE link).
Any ideas? The version of Avalanche is 1.4.5 Build 1516. Capture One 23 188.8.131.52. MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1
