I’m testing Peakto at the moment. I noticed the following beahvior.

When I add sources like folders and the photo library the Peakto Root Folder grows. Especially the Thumbnails folder. Around 3 GB in my test case. This is expected.

When I remove sources the Peakto Root Folder shrinks again, but not by the same amount. Even if I remove all sources the Peakto Root Folder still stays over 1 GB in size. This is not expected.

A lot of thumbnails remained, although Peakto hat zero images in its catalogue.

I tried alle the “Developer” actions. They had minimal impact.

Now I am concerned that Peakto will leak diskspace over time.

Did someone else observe this? Solutions?
