How to find the total number of photos or videos in Peakto

To find the total number of photos in Peakto, you can rely on the concepts of Instants and Versions as follows:

Steps to Get the Total Number of Photos :

1. By Counting Instants
      • The number of Instants corresponds to the unique moments captured.
      • Each Instant may contain one or more related photos (e.g., a RAW file and its associated JPEG).

2. By Counting Versions
      • The number of Versions includes all variations of photos in your catalog.
      • This means that for a single Instant, all edited or exported variations (e.g., cropped, color-adjusted) are also counted.

Example
• If you have 1,000 Instants and 1,200 Versions, this means:
                 • You captured 1,000 unique moments.
            • 200 of those moments have additional variations, such as edits or exports.

In a future release, we plan to add a setting to switch between Photos/Videos Count (which reflects the physical files on your drives) and Instant/Version Count.
Thank you
