Just ran my first full conversion of a Photos library to Lightroom.  Overall it worked fantastic.  However, there are over 500 files that failed to migrate because "an item with the same name already exists".

I'm pretty sure its because the converter looks at the file named "DB250FD8-3B38-41AD-820B-327971B2987F.jpeg" that is in the photos database file directory structure, and when it copies it out to the Lightroom directory structure "DSCN0640.JPG" is already found because somewhere else in the photos database an image with the same converted name existed.  Those files do exist in the photos database.

That part makes sense, sort of. 

How can I easily find out which version of "DSCN0540.JPG" was copied?   I manually went looking and discovered that the image I wanted was copied (the larger higher quality one).  But I don't know how to verify that easily across all 500 images.

Second issue is that in the Lightroom catalog, there are now 2 copies of "DCSN0540.JPG" in the Library.  They both show two different file sizes, but the same name.  That matches up with what was in Photos.  However, there is only a single file.

Why are there two files showing in the Library, but only one physical copy on the disk in the Lightroom folder structure?

I did use the option to "Convert to Lightroom"  vs converting to a file system.   Also I exported the library structure as "reproduce source hierarchy".
