Avalanche for Apple Photos; Questions, maybe problems?

MacOS: 12.7.6 (21H1320)

I converted my aperture library using Avalanche, and I'm seeing some odd results. Nothing I can quite call a fault yet, but certainly somethings I can't quite explain. Of course, the problems might be in Apple Photos too. Do the team at CYME have any comments on these?
- When I did the conversion, Avalanche cannot automatically find my aperture library. Even though it is on a separate drive (Called AperLibrary), and named "Aperture library". it is at the top level of the drive and the only visible file on that volume. It works when I manually find the library for it.
- When I open the new photos library, Photos spends over 1 hour "updating" it. Is this normal on a newly created library?
- Whenever I open an image in photos (click on a thumbnail) it says "Missing file, Photos with unavailable original files cannot be opened...." and gives me an option to find original. When I use the "Find original" button it opens the correct folder on the disk... which tells me it knows where the file is after all. Selecting that folder makes it able to find all photos in the album...but only until I shut down Photos and restart, by which time it will have forgotten where the files are and I need to "find original" again. So I need to "find original" every time I use Photos.
- The Avalanche scan says there are 1719 albums in Aperture, but I'm sure there are more than that. I have my photos arranged as one album for each "sheet" of negatives, or now group of photos. There are over 2000 of these in Aperture. I cannot see anything missing in the new photos Library, but it is possible. It's hard to manually check that many folders.
