Probably a hundred reasons why this can't happen but I figured I'd suggest it anyway.

The power of Peakto is gathering photographs together using AI instead of metadata. It's very powerful in that regard and can find photos that I failed to add GPS metadata to for instance. 

And while I can of course export directly from Peakto, it would be far more helpful to be able to add collections into the Lightroom catalog directly from Peakto. 

So once I have used Peakto search to locate a subset of images, I have the option to add them as a new collection in Lightroom. I understand that Lightroom probably couldn't be open during this process because it's actively using the catalog itself, but I think having to close LR is a small price to pay for such a useful feature.
