Add a shortcut for "Show master image in Finder"
It would be great to have a simple shortcut to "Show master image in Finder". I often lose a bit of time when searching for this option in the right-click menu, when I think it should be one of the first options to show up.
Faces in Peakto 1.10
I've noticed that the faces detection tools seems to have been upgraded: it detects faces in photo, and allows to tag them. I have manually tagged some faces, but they do not appear in the "faces" panel. It says "no faces in source". ==> It seems to me
Peakto 1.10 Edit in.....
Hi, I've noticed that when right clicking on a capture one image, it will show "Edit in Capture One", but won't always show "Open in...." or "Edit in workspace..." . Also the Image Tab list isn't as complete (or in same order) as the list when I right
Watched folder stuck on "analysing"
I have a watched folder on an external drive, next to which the yellow "sync" logo appears: When I click the yellow logo, the following window appears: However it is stuck on "analysing", I never get to the point where it displays the number of changes.
Quality of keywords generated by AI
The keywords generated by AI to help us finding images is one of the top selling points of Peakto but so far the quality of the generated AI keywords is not exactly high in my collection. Quality looks similar to what I have seen several years ago but
IA Tab bug.
First , kudos for the work done, I've been following you since 2019 and the work done is tremendous. This version of Peakto is now mature and deserves to be widely adopted. Second, just FYI, following a transition to another hard disk for my originals
Panoramas and HDRs are not "Instants"
A series of similar photos for panoramas, stacks and HDRs are not "Instants". I wish there was a recognition of these use cases (by similarity and time stamps?) and a way to group them differently from instants. Possible? :-)
Filter by aspect ratio
Hi, It would be great to be able to filter images by a certain aspect ratio. For example, I like shooting in 65:24 so I'd like to be able to retrieve these pictures instantly. I think it would be useful for a lot of people, even with more "standard" aspect
Apple Aperture survivor looking for advice - Peakto or Avalanche
I am a long time Apple Aperture survivor that really needs to let go and join the modern world. I am at a complete loss as what to do. Should I use Avalanche to migrate to Capture One? Does Avalanche work with DxO PhotoLab or ON1 Photo Raw? Should I use
Unanswered support re instagram and LR not opening images
Howdy, I've been trialing Peakto, which has now expired. I put in a support ticket almost 2 weeks ago re Instagram not being added (even though credentials entered without problem), and a couple days ago re when trying to open an image in LR, LR opens
Peakto stuck forever in "Checking incremental changes from source.."
I have updated macOS from 14.01 to 14.1 and updated my photo library (it did "something" on first startup of Apple Photos). In Peakto, it successfully synced new items from Apple Photos, but has not run AI analysis on them. I triggered this manually by
Peakto performance during AI analyzis has been degraded since 1.8.6 on Intel Mac
Hello, Since the last update (1.8.6), I've noticed a huge degradation of the performance during the AI analysis. My Intel iMac is freezing up during the analysis, where before this update it was running fine. Currently Peakto is unusable in my machine.
Histogramme ?
Bonjour, Je ne trouve pas trace d'histogramme dans l'inspecteur. est-ce normal ? si oui, c'est un gros manque Hello, I can't find a histogram in the inspector. Is this normal? If so, it's a big problem.
Peakto does show duplicates that I've deleted from Lightroom
How to get peakto to actually synchronize to such changes in Lightroom? I deleted several duplicates in lightroom some days ago, but they still show up in peakto. I've tried to synchronize several times, but there is no change at all.
Images in the wrong order (Capture One catalogues)
Images keep showing up in the wrong order. It's always one older image at a time appearing among newer, unrelated images. And it's the same regardless of whether I sort by Original Date, Capture Date or Digitized Date. By the way, shouldn't it by "Sort
No link to trial version
Hi all, anyone else had problems getting the trial version? I gave my email and it said a link would be sent but no email, not even in spam... Then I tried the Mac Appstore version, where it says 15 day trial when you click the annual subscription, but
"Edit in Lightroom" switches to LRC and opens the correct catalog, but that's about it.
When I try to open an image in LRC by clicking "Edit in Lightroom", LRC restarts with the correct catalog (if needed), but it does not open the image. LRC just stays at the last open image in the particular catalog. I see there has been a similar problem
Peakto analyzes image aesthetics for all images on every synchronization
Peakto analyzes image aesthetics for all images in a catalogue every time this catalogue is synchronized. This takes quite a while. Is this how it's supposed to be?
Global Score identical to Aesthetic Score?
Global Score appears to be identical to Aesthetic Score for all images. I assume this isn't how it's supposed to be? (Version 1.8.7 6868; default Aesthetic Score settings.)
"At least one task is currently running in background" / nothing showing up in Activity Monitor
I'm just curious about the "At least one task is currently running in background" alert while nothing is shown in the Activity Monitor. Wouldn't background tasks be listed in the Activity Monitor?
Four of each keyword?
All of a sudden I have four apparently identical instances of many keywords: I have four Capture One catalogues in Peakto; I assume this has something to do with it. But is this how it's supposed to be – a set of keywords for each catalogue?
Option to filter images by clicking on keyword tag
It would be useful if you could click on a keyword in the keyword section to show all images with this keyword. E.g. click on the keyword 'Architecture' to have Peakto show all images with this keyword.
New in Peakto 1.8.5: Lightroom CC compatibility and full-screen mode
The new version of Peakto includes a new compatibility. After Lightroom Classic, Peakto can now display photos from Lightroom Creative Cloud and lets Lightroom users benefit from enhanced search and exploration features! This new version also comes with
Searching Instants
I am pleased that the instants are finally working for my setup (they didn't before 1.8.1) but what doesn't work is searching instants. What I like to do is a search like 'find all instants that have a Capture One version AND an Apple Photos version'.
Details view in Versions mode: keyboard navigation
When moving between images (that do not belong to the same instant) using the left and right arrow keys, Peakto will move the selection between the thumbnails of the images and display the preview belonging to the selected image. This works until the
macOS Sonoma is coming. What Peakto widgets would you need ?
Widgets are not new to macOS...but they are making a great come-back with macOS 14 (Sonoma) this fall. The main difference with previous versions, is that widgets can now be permanently displayed on your desktop and the OS smartly handles there presence
Peakto for MacOS 14.0 Sonoma
Hi, When will Peakto support MacOS 14.0 Sonoma? Cheers Lucas
Your workflows with ON1 and how Peakto can support them.
We are considering adding support for ON1 Photo Raw in a similar way that we support DXO (via workspaces). We are eager to hear your thoughts about ON1 + Peakto : - how Peakto could help you in your workflows with ON1 - what kind of bi-directional integration
Fullscreen mode
Hello Would be great to pixel-peep in a real fullscreen mode like in Photo Mechanic Plus. Regards Yvan
Expansion on Color filtering
Would love the ability to filter by No Color Label (Clear). And would also love to see a small square or some sort of indicator icon for the color label while in grid view.
Face search from LRC catalog isn't useful
A lot of my data comes from people so face search is really important to me. I am fairly good at tagging faces in LRC, so I was pretty hopeful for Peakto to pull that data in. It does... but it seems to also pull in Lightroom's "this might be this person"
Option to select image currently selected in Capture One (or other applications)
While Peakto has an option to open an image in Capture One (or other applications), it would be useful to have an option in Peakto to select the image currently selected in Capture One, for instance if you wanted to annotate this image or add it to an
Detail view issue
In Detail view, photos edited in Capture One appear like this: I assume the overlaid edited version is supposed to be fully rather than only partly visible. This is in version 1.8.0c 6622.
What is the Optimal spec for Peakto and Avalanche use?
I am hoping to ingest large volumes of photos that include both catalogs and folders of loose images. When I'm considering upgrades to a new Mac, what specs will have the most impact on performance with initial ingestion on Peakto and with conversions
1.7.5b crashing while running image AI analysis
Peakto is always crashing when I run the image AI analysis on a Apple Photos Library and activate the "Defect/Features Detection". ------------------------------------- Translated Report (Full Report Below) ------------------------------------- Process:
how to designate a poster photo for an instant
I can't find the menu, context menu, or button to designate an image as a poster for an instant in version 1.7.5b - 6290. Could you please add this command to the Image menu? So I could set my preferred keyboard shortcut (command #) to it. In my workflow
Peakto Features Wishes
The beta version of Peakto is only the beginning of a journey that will take us much further. Our ambition: to enhance, through the power of AI, the way you find your photos; to invent new ways to share your photos; and to help you clean up your pictures.
Support for Apple Live Photos
Would be good to view a "Live Photo" in the Apple Library as well as a Watched Folder. I'm sure this will come when you implement movies in Peakto...
Any update on file management features?
Will you please provide an update on these feature requests? "Peakto does not yet let you delete unwanted images. It will come very soon and we'll introduce a trash can. The reason for that not being there since v1...is that deleting an image can take
Dragging photos from Apple Photos library to an album only adds some of the selected photos
I have an Apple Photos album with 382 Instants in it. I would like to add all of these to a Peakto album. I begin by selecting all 382 photos with ⌘A. I then click one of the selected photos with the mouse and start dragging it. A little red bubble pops
